Together with studio onformative I had the opportunity to design/programm the generative infographics of Helmholtz Zentrum Munich’s 2009 annual report. The task was to visualize the integration of Helmholtz Zentrum in research associations and the related cooperative networks. We chose to visualize these hierarchical structures with the little help of sunburst diagrams.
The code for these kind of diagrams was mostly based on the programs presented in chapter M. 5 of our book, Generative Gestaltung.
Later on the design of the annual report was honored the iF communication design award.
